The students are required to act in ‘mainstage’ productions from 2nd to 4th year (recent seasons have included Shakespeare, Chekhov, re-imagined classics, and contemporary plays). As well, Grenfell Campus has a unique ‘masterclass’ component which allows students to work with professionals from the field (recent masterclasses have included acting for camera, voice acting, and queer theatre).

Grenfell Campus, Memorial University, has a population of more than 1,300 students with over 20% of the student body self-identifying as Indigenous. The Campus emphasizes innovative approaches to teaching and learning, research and engagement. Experiential learning, impactful research and strong community relationships are the hallmarks of Grenfell’s profile.
