About the University of Regina

The University of Regina provides an attractive study and work environment for the more than 14,200 students, as well as 406 full-time faculty, 865 permanent staff and approximately 1,300 term or casual employees. The University is located in one of the largest urban parks in North America, called Wascana Centre. The University of Regina has 10 faculties and 25 academic departments which have reputations for excellence and innovation programs leading to bachelors, master’s and doctoral degrees.  In the 2010-2011 fiscal year, the University received nearly $24 million in research funding

The Faculty of Media, Art, and Performance has a full range of professional, educational and liberal arts programs that lead to degrees in media production and studies, music, music education, theatre, art history and visual arts.



Media Production & Studies

The only university department between Toronto and Vancouver to offer degree programs in both film production and film studies: BA and BA Hon in film studies and BFA in production.
