About Thompson Rivers University (TRU)

Thompson Rivers University’s beautiful campus is located in the heart of Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. There are over 13,000 students from across Canada and around the world that take advantage of the University’s complete undergraduate and graduate degrees in addition to diplomas, apprenticeships, professional certificates, continuing studies and ESL. As well, TRU has alternate learning options such as online studies or distance education through the Open Learning Division.

About the Faculty of Arts

The Faculty of Arts focuses on small classes and outstanding teachers. Students also have access to undergraduate research opportunities, unique international programs and field trips, student clubs, flexible programming, critical thinking and communication skills, co-op possibilities, and other extracurricular opportunities. The Faculty’s instructors are a community of scholars who are passionate about education inside and outside the classroom.
